A visual hand-painted technique that gives a subtle, lived in look. This style is very low maintenance and gives a natural, blended, sun kissed colour. Balayage is perfect for people who have natural hair and are wanting to achieve a soft colour without a harsh regrowth. Because of the application technique, this is a warm toned colour. For this style, we recommend our clients come in after 4 months for a refresh, but lots of our clients only come in once or twice a year, some even less. Balayage is softer on the hair then foiling thus leaving it healthier, making it easier to grow. When painting the lightener on your hair, we use a big brush with soft bristles to sweep across the hair and this is what offers a seamless grow out. We also use clay lightener which applies smoother and protects your hair more.

Our balayage placement will be tailored to you. We will have an in depth consultation and look at pictures with you, so that we can be sure to give you the perfect beachy, dimensional result you are looking for!  We may use different intensities of lightener and some foils to highlight the areas you would like to see extra brightness. Lots of our clients like to see more brightness around their face, so we tend to use a few foils to help bring out the brightness. We will discuss the different methods we will use during our consultation.

This style leaves some natural depth in your hair, so the blonde pieces pop! Balayage has been around for a long time, but has only recently become a popular and wide spread technique. And because of this, balayage techniques are always changing. We are always growing and constantly evolving as stylists here, so there is a reason why we are blonde specialists. Because of this, we are up to date with our technique and can proudly offer you the best hair.

When you come into our salon, as mentioned before, we will have a consultation before we begin colouring and transforming your hair. You can expect to be in our salon for a few hours, so sit back and relax while your hair processes.

When your hair is ready we will bring you over to one of our basins and give you a good wash and then scalp massage while your complimentary treatment rehydrates your hair.

And then the final touches. Depending on our consultation we will give you a trim or cut to bring out your fresh hair. Finally, you will enjoy one of our famous blow-drys and watch your new stunning balayage colour come out! We will also discuss, the at-home hair care you will need to maintain your gorgeous hair!
